JAPANESE WOMAN DIES AFTER REQUESTING CARE AT 30 HOSPITALS

In Tokyo, an 89 year old woman died after paramedics spent 2 hours of looking for a hospital who would accept her. Her heart stopped, but she was resuscitated and died 2 days later.

The 29 hospitals were either too full or doctors could not see her right away.

Another Japanese woman died last year after being denied admission to 20 hospitals She was pregnant.
