VISA STOPS TRAVELERS CHECKS

Visa has stopped issuing travelers checks. Demand for travellers checks has fallen 50% over the last two years. People are using credit, debit, and prepaid cards. Visa will still sell them until the supplies run out.

American Express will continue to sell travellers checks. Travelers now use a cash passport" a prepaid card where you can withdraw cash from a foreign ATM.
