DOES THE WHITE HOUSE NEED A PRESS SECRETARY ?

It seems that the Obama administration does not need a press secretary. Each morning that Press Secretary Robert Gibbs is presiding over the press corps,he is being pressured to answer a question he is not privy to.

The next morning President Obama answers the questions. The American public was complaining that President George W Bush was absent and not available for questions during the last months of his presidency.

Now we see the current president every day. Every time we turn on our t.v.'s he's there.We are getting an over saturation of the president. He is over exposed. And I thought that Beyonce was the only person that I cringed every time I turned on t.v. She was everywhere.

KARL ROVE AND DICK CHENEY RE-WRITING HISTORY ?

It seems like that is the case. The Bush administration left with a dismal rating so they are now trying to bolster up the ratings and get a favorable legacy. It is a good thing that Cheney is releasing papers that will set the record straight.Some of the Dems are saying they knew nothing of the torture but they have been called on it.

I think every little thing that comes out will be dissected and there will be a rebuttal. Cheney is not going to go away like Rumsfield. He is going to fight for his legacy and reputation. Even Condolezza Rice is trying to clean things up.

GOP WIVES DO NOT HAVE A VOICE

Why do our elected GOP officials wives not have a voice ? We never hear from them. They are always kept ten paces behind them. Are they individuals and have a voice of their own ? Can they let us know what's on their minds ?

Is that why first lady Laura Bush is doing all these public service announcements now ? Is she wondering what her legacy will be ? I had seen her a few times speaking on education and libraries. But nothing else.

I was wondering what they will put in the George W Bush Library about her. She and her daughters were kept in the background. I wish that we had seen more of them to see what type of personalities they had. The public didn't even get to see the wedding pictures of their daughter.

WHY IS THE PRESS CORP DISSING FORMER PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH ??

The press corp has been staying seated whenever former president George W. Bush enters a room. Why is this? It has always been that when a president enters a room, people stand.

When Bush was in office, he did alienate some of the press. He bypassed the corp and went directly to the papers and some of the cable news hosts with leaks. And the time when he closed the press room and said it was being enlarged and remodeled.

I don't care what their personal problems are with the president, I think they should offer him the courtesy and respect of being the former leader of our country.I guess they have all seen the Frost/Nixon movie.

THE OLD JOHN McCAIN IS BACK

If John Mc Cain had kept to his gut feeling, who knows what the outcome would have been in the 2008 elections. It seems like he is back in form. But it is too late now. He should have taken action and named Minn. Governor Tim Pawlenty as his running mate as he wanted and rejected Sara Palin and Joe The Plumber.

It seems so sad to see him to argue his case against the stimulus package and the pork in it. He didn't have this fire in his belly on his campaign stops.

DID CNN CANCEL D L HUGHLEY'S SHOW BECAUSE OF MICHAEL STEEL CONTROVERSY ??

I am wondering if D. L. Hughley's show was cancelled by CNN because of the conflict between Steel/ Limbaugh ? If so this is the same thing ABC did to Bill Mahr . I did not look at the show unless I stumbled upon it while surfing.

The show wasn't that bad . Well, another one bites the dust. Arsenio Hall was another casualty. Michael Steel was out of character that night. Maybe he should stick to written scripts.

But he should not have apologized. If what he said was sincere, there was no need for one. The GOP always critique their members, and they hold their feet to the fire. If they don't keep to the accepted speech by the party, their money will be cut off at the next election.

When I heard Eagleburger take back what he had said about Sara Palin on NPR the next day, he lost all cred ability with me. He was probably told he would not be invited to give any lectures and his books would be blacklisted.

THE NERVE OF JUSTICE CLARENCE THOMAS TO ATTEND THE INAUGURATION !!

Why was Justice Clarence Thomas at the Inauguration ? He has no love for President Barak Obama. President Obama said at Rick Warren's Forum that Justice Thomas was not a strong enough jurist or legal thinker.

Justice David Souter denied the law suit questioning President Obama's citizenship. Justice Thomas reopened the case and put the matter to a vote. This has never been done before.

Justice Thomas supposedly told his friends he would stay on the bench for another 43 years to get revenge on the liberals who opposed his seat on the bench.

SHOCK AND AWE IS OVER JUST IN TIME FOR THE INAUGURATION

I think this was a planned act to take out all the infrastructure before Barak Obama takes office. Israel knew President Bush would not stop them, so they took out everything. This was their last chance.

No one knows what stance Obama will take. It was terrible that journalists were not allowed in to see the atrocities. I think Israel's standing in the world has diminished. They discount the U.N. and will not listen to their output. They bombed the U.N. warehouse and fired upon Red Cross workers.

These acts were despicable. It brings to mind the attack of the USS Pueblo by North Korea and the attack on the USS Liberty by Israel.

FEINSTEIN SAYS SENATE SHOULD SEAT BURRIS

Senator Dianne Feinstein knows how things can come back and bite you. Just like the forces came together and backed President-Elect Barak Obama, someone could be put out front to challenge Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. It seems like he thinks he will be there forever. But people are fickle and the least little thing can tick people off.

Reid pressured Blagojevich not to appoint Jackson Jr. to Obama's U S Senate seat.He sent a list of persons he would like to have the seat. He also called other governors who had senate vacancies in their states.I would like Blagojevich to get a team of constitutional lawyers to challenge these people who on Monday were his colleague and on Tuesday said he was crazy and wanted him removed.

WILL DEMS BE IN CONTROL TWO YEARS FROM NOW ?

If the Democrats keep up with their shenanigans, I believe that the Republicans will regain control of the senate and congress. Harry Reid is trying to control government and I think he will lose. We will see how much power he has. He is flexing his muscles.

It seems that President-Elect Barak Obama is doing exactly that. With some of the appointments he has made.I am just flabbergasted that he did not chose other ministers who would have been excellent choices for the invocation. There are mega church ministers in the Washington D.C.area.

I am surprised that none of his transition team has quit. I thought that many of his young group of associates would have been selected, with new ideas. But instead he chose many of Clinton's cronies.

I will not give my vote to Barak Obama again. Rick Warren told America that Senator John McCain was in a secured location and did not hear the questions to Senator Barak Obama. When in fact, Senator McCain was en-route to the forum and heard every one of the questions.

I think Barak Obama is trying to win over some of the evangelicals.But Obama is speaking with a forked tongue, and this will come back and bite him. The evangelicals were polled after the forum and all of the crowd said they would not vote for him.

Barak Obama is bending over backwards to please everyone. He and his team are trying to be too perfect and I think that is impossible. I will not be surprised if some of the people he has selected will drop out now.This is not what they came on board for.

WHAT IS GOV. ROD BLAGOJEVICH'S TRUMP CARD ?

The Illinois Governor is not going down without a fight.He is kicking ass and taking names. And he will tell all if he doesn't get a deal. He doesn't want to spend thirty years in prison. He will take a lot of people with him.

People are shaking in their boots that their name will be mentioned. And the conservatives are foaming at the mouth that Jessie Jackson Jr. will go down with him. Blagojevich has shown no sign of breaking down and is still signing bills.

This reminds me of Larry Flynt of Hustler Magazine who was being prosecuted by the government. He put out a reward for any information of wrong doing by polititians.
He released the info on a few small fry but I believe he kept the big ones in his vault in case the government came after him again.

O.J.SIMPSON DIDN'T KNOW HE WAS THE MOST HATED MAN ALIVE

I think the judge in the case was fair, but she gave a complicated sentence. Simpson wouldn't just go away, he flaunted around in public. He was a jock and a very strong man. Most athletes are like that. I think the judge should have taken into account that the policemen were giving each other high-fives, and screaming, " we got him".

I think he could have got some leniency because it was entrapment, and the ex-cons colluded with the " powers that be" to tape him for dropping charges against them.

If we don't start forcing our elected officials to pay attention to the people of this country, if we don't start using our heads and learning about our leaders and their policies, we will head our country down the road to financial ruin, and destroy the safety factor for every single American. We need to protect our borders, build up our own resources, and end our reliance upon nations who care little about the US, other than as a "Shopping Center" for outside interests' wealth! Pay attention to who is running for office, learn all you can about them, and vote for the person who truly wants to stand up for us, the citizens of this country, and make our lives better. Stop voting for looks and promises; both will fail with time. Vote for sincerity and honesty, vote for past accomplishments, not promises, and vote for those who have the experience, not the "shadow" of experience, to run this country for the people, not foreign interests who pay for their influence. Vote to rebuild our manufacturing base, not to force it overseas, and to rebuild the pride that once made this country strong.

ACORN OFFICES VANDALIZED AND STAFF GETTING DEATH THREATS

For two weeks employees of Acorn have been attacked. John McCain told a national audience that Acorn was " maybe perpetrating one of the greatest frauds in voter history in this country, maybe destroying the fabric of democracy",and after that Acorn's Boston and Seattle offices were vandalized.

The staffer who appeared on tv received a death threat.There have been racist and threatening voicemails and emails.
