In 1987 the federal regulators were investigating Charles H Keating Jr. of Lincoln Savings and Loan. He was a big contributor to senators Dennis DeConcini and John McCain of Arizona, Alan Cranston of California, John Glenn of Ohio, and Don Riegle of Michigan.

He urged the senators to stall and block the regulators. But by 1989 the regulators seized Lincoln. Some of the Senators were censured and some were reprimanded on the senate floor. Lincoln S& L collapsed in 1989 and was bailed out by the government for 2 billion. 23,000 pensioners lost their savings.

The Arizona Republican Assembly voted unanimously to censure State Senator John McCain in June of 2005, during it's annual state convention. The reasons were the Amnesty Bill for Illegal Aliens, ignoring constitutional concerns with his campaign finance reform law.

MOSCOW CALLS FOR ANTI-U S ALLIANCE

The President of Russia has called on Europe's leaders to create a New World Order that would minimize the role of the United States. Dimitry Medvedev arrived in Evian France Wednesday to woo his fellow leaders into creating an anti-U S front.

Medvedev outlined plans for a new security pact to ban the use of force in Europe. He was playing the divide-and-rule tatics of Vladimir Putin. He proposed creating new financial systems to challenge the dominance of the IMF and the WTO, both of which had fallen under Washington's spell.

IF JOHN McCAIN ISN'T ELECTED WILL HE BE WELCOMED BACK INTO THE SENATE ?

If he isn't elected, will he be welcomed back into the senate with open arms? Or will he be shunned? He upset many legislaturers when he went to Washington and cancelled his campaign.

He was not on the committee so he could not sit in on the negotiations.He was just doing it for a photo op. Also when he went to the White House for the meet with President Bush.

He did not say anything in the meeting or ask any questions. They were confused as to why he wanted the meeting and did not say anything when they convened.I know he says he is a maverick but is this to his detriment ?

McCAIN IS USING PALIN AS HIS ATTACK DOG !!

Senator John McCain is using Governor Sarah Palin as his attack dog so he cannot be blamed for any damaging smears to the media. She will put anything out there that is put before her.

I hope that she would have enough gumption to say no against anything that she will not tolerate, and not let herself to be put out there with talking points.

WHO DOES FOX WANT TO REPLACE GWEN IFILL WITH ? HANNITY ???

Fox News wants Gwen Ifill replaced from the VP Debates. Who do they want to replace her ? Hannity ?

Ifill has published a book about Obama and they think it is grounds for Ifill's dismissal. No trick or gimmick will change the outcome of the debate.

Palin reminded me of Miss South Carolina in all of her interviews.

IS TODD PALIN THE REAL GOVERNOR OF ALASKA ?

It seems to me that Todd Palin is the real governor of Alaska. He is always there, instead of being a stay at home dad. It was said he attended all meetings of the governor in Alaska. And now he is on the platform at every rally.

He also travels with the campaign.I wonder if Sarah can deliver if Todd is not there ? Has he been the one that has been coaching her all these years ? Has he put her in the forefront, and he has stayed in the background ? Were all those ideas his instead of hers ?

ALL INCUMBENTS SHOULD BE KICKED OUT !!

We need some fresh blood in Washington, D.C. All the incumbents should be kicked out. Many of them have been there too long and are ineffective. It showed this week.

Americans still have a chance to elect Barr and Nader. I think the candidates are clearing the way for many Libertarians, Greens, and Independents to forge ahead.

The people I have talked to have no pity for Wall Street. They had no compassion for the little guy. I think about the guys that took their own lives after losing everything because of day trading.

The employees of Enron got no support when the company went bust. The government did not step in to help the workers. The CEO's walked away with a lot of money.

These big corporations will not budge if a person wants to negotiate
their loans.They will not meet them half way.
