It seems like a tactic by the corporations ,that on some three or four day weekends, you cannot get cash. When you go to the ATM it is unoperable or out of cash.
I think it is a ploy for you to charge, not to use debit cards or to get cash. Every store that you go to, asks you to get their credit card, for a discount, or credit.
