IS SENATOR McCAIN SETTING A TRAP FOR PRESIDENT OBAMA

Senator John McCain is saying that President Obama should show some compassion for the protesters in Iran. It was he who a few months was singing the song "bomb,bomb, Iran".

He and other Republicans are trying to set the bait for President Barak Obama to come out with an iron hand and side with the protesters over the government of Iran. They did the same thing with President Carter and the Iran Hostages and also President Lyndon Johnson and the war in Vietnam.

They hounded President Carter so much that I think he didn't want a second term. He just wanted out of there. And President Johnson did not seek the re-election. They also hounded President Clinton about the Monica deal.

They just want things to go wrong so they can criticize the president.They are looking for a platform for their next person to run against the president. The president has enough on his plate with two wars going on. Also South Korea is a top priority.

I don't know who they will put up as an opponet against President Obama. Everyone they trot out is not going to win. I have not seen one person that I would vote for. They are all in the old guard.

If John McCain had spoken up then as he is speaking up now maybe he would be president. But he listened to the bigwigs in the party instead of going with his own gut feelings.

ACORN OFFICES VANDALIZED AND STAFF GETTING DEATH THREATS

For two weeks employees of Acorn have been attacked. John McCain told a national audience that Acorn was " maybe perpetrating one of the greatest frauds in voter history in this country, maybe destroying the fabric of democracy",and after that Acorn's Boston and Seattle offices were vandalized.

The staffer who appeared on tv received a death threat.There have been racist and threatening voicemails and emails.

I AM SO GLAD THAT JOHN McCAIN SHOWED SOME CLASS

I am so glad that John McCain showed some class by renouncing the bigots at his rally. He knows that whether he wins or loses, he will have to work in Washington. And he does not want to be shunned.

His supporters and handlers didn't want him to come out and stop the attacks on Barak Obama. But that shows he has some decency left. He is bringing out the David Dukes and the Timothy McVeigh's at those rally's.

If someone leaves his rally and group attack someone, he will get blamed for riling them up . I hope he isn't looking at those talking heads on cable. I don't look at fox and sometimes I have to turn off NPR because they go too far left sometimes.

The way things are going now I think it will be a toss-up as to who will win this election. It is so close.

JOHN McCAIN IS BRINGING OUT THE CRAZIES

Why is he doing this ? It seems like Sarah Palin is catering to the fringe groups. Do they want the Aryans, skinheads, stoners and militia in their camp? How are they going to distance themselves from these groups if they win the election? The world is watching. I would hope they would take note of the foreign press and get their take on this.

IF McCAIN WINS WHAT WILL HIS APPROVAL RATING BE IN THE FIRST FEW DAYS ?

I think the approval rating will be lower that George Bush has now. I am shuddering to think about it. He will be the O J of politics. How low can you go.

I have never seen gutter politics like this and I have worked in campaigns since 1965. I don't think the stench will ever go away.

IF JOHN McCAIN ISN'T ELECTED WILL HE BE WELCOMED BACK INTO THE SENATE ?

If he isn't elected, will he be welcomed back into the senate with open arms? Or will he be shunned? He upset many legislaturers when he went to Washington and cancelled his campaign.

He was not on the committee so he could not sit in on the negotiations.He was just doing it for a photo op. Also when he went to the White House for the meet with President Bush.

He did not say anything in the meeting or ask any questions. They were confused as to why he wanted the meeting and did not say anything when they convened.I know he says he is a maverick but is this to his detriment ?

A DARK TIME IN JOHN MCCAIN'S LIFE

Senator John McCain has written that the Keating Five period was a dark time in his life, and he believed he made serious errors in judgement. He was reprimanded by the senate for his part in the scandal.

McCAIN IS USING PALIN AS HIS ATTACK DOG !!

Senator John McCain is using Governor Sarah Palin as his attack dog so he cannot be blamed for any damaging smears to the media. She will put anything out there that is put before her.

I hope that she would have enough gumption to say no against anything that she will not tolerate, and not let herself to be put out there with talking points.

SARAH PALIN HOLDING HER OWN BABY

Yesterday when Sarah Palin embarked off the plane, she was holding her own baby. Usually that task is delegated to someone else. I had never seen her holding the baby.

Was that just a photo op, or just in case she did not do well in the debate, she would get empathy from all the moms. She also had her arm bandaged from the fall she had at John McCain's compound.

WHY BARAK OBAMA USED KID GLOVES IN DEBATE

Barak Obama used kid gloves on John McCain because that is his makeup. He has been taught to respect his elders. He has more tolerance than most. If McCain had collapsed on stage, then Obama would be devastated.

It reminds me of high school. After school we would go to the park and sometimes play basketball. We knew the boys were afraid to play aggressively so we would take advantage of the situation.

We would jab them with our elbows and play very rough.

COMPARING McCAIN TO MISS SOUTH CAROLINA ?

In a town hall meeting in Des Moines, Iowa, McCain said Putin was the President of Germany. Well here goes another four years !! And he wants 10 town hall meetings with Obama. It seems like McCain just keeps putting his foot in his mouth, and not paying attention to his writers.

McCAIN: TROOPS RETURN FROM WAR "NO, BUT THAT'S NOT TOO IMPORTANT"

McCain said, "We will be able to withdraw, but the key to it is we don't want any more Americans in harms way." So I guess he is o k for a military base to stay permanently there in Iraq.

He mentioned that US forces are still in South Korea, Japan, and Germany long after the wars ended.

He has not endorsed Senator John McCain. He is starting a new group "Campaign for Liberty".They will raise money for candidates who share Paul's philosophy.

The campaign will take place on the second day of the Republican National Convention.
