There are those who will do anything to get that 300 dollars. I think this is a scam to find extortionists, sex offenders, felons, wanted FBI persons. This is similar to the police sting that tells people to come in and claim a big screen tv.
People who have avoided paying taxes and people who have not paid taxes in years will suddenly have to pay back taxes. You cannot get the check until you file. Even if you think you cannot qualify.
Maybe the tax coffers will go up into trillons and the national debt will be paid off.
