MITT ROMNEY IS BUYING CLEAR CHANNEL COMMUNICATIONS

It will cost $19.5 billion. Romney's private equity firm, Bain Capitol and Thomas H Lee Partners will buy it in a leveraged buyout plan. Clear Channel is the largest radio station in this country. They own 1,000 AM FM , shortwave radio stations, 12 radio channels on XM, and 30 television stations in the U S.

Clear Channel owns Premiere Radio Network. It is the station of Rush, Glenn Beck, and others. Hannity recently signed on with Clear Channel.
