Longtime Florida Republican committeewoman Carol Carter resigned after a racist joke she forwarded in an e-mail became public . She said she didn't know why someone leaked it to the press. She only sent the e-mail to eight people.

I have been asked to send this apology for my earlier e-mail. I am sorry that it was received in a negative manner. I do hope that we are going to be allowed to keep our sense of humor.

As you can now see, it went to very few people. I did add Todd Marks in this apology, as he is in the mix now. I am also sorry to learn that some of these persons are not real team players. There really was no reason for this to go beyond those that I e-mailed (8 people). This was not an e-mail blast as I do not have that capability.

OBAMA PLANS CONCERT FOR STEVIE WONDER AT THE WHITE HOUSE

WASHINGTON - The White House is planning a concert next week to honor Stevie Wonder, whose music provided part of President Barack Obama’s campaign soundtrack.

The White House says the president and first lady Michelle Obama will present Wonder a Library of Congress award on Wednesday. The concert will be broadcast the next day on PBS as part of its “Performance at the White House” series.

The award-winning and chart-topping Wonder performed at the Democratic National Convention in Denver on the night Obama accepted his party’s nomination. He also performed at a concert during the week of Obama’s inauguration.

Blackwater Changes Its Name to Xe

Blackwater Worldwide is abandoning the brand name that has been tarnished by its work in Iraq, settling on Xe (pronounced zee) as the new name for its family of two dozen businesses.

Times Topics: Blackwater Worldwide ,Blackwater Lodge and Training Center, the subsidiary that conducts much of the company’s overseas operations and domestic training, has been renamed U.S. Training Center Inc., the company said Friday.

The company’s rebranding effort grew more urgent after Blackwater guards in Baghdad were involved in a shooting episode in September 2007 that left 17 Iraqi civilians dead.

Blackwater’s president, Gary Jackson, said in a memo to employees that the new name reflected the company’s shift away from providing private security. He has said the company is going to focus on training.

Last month, Iraqi leaders said they would not renew Blackwater’s license to operate in Iraq; the State Department said later that it would not renew Blackwater’s contract to protect diplomats when it expired in May.

A Blackwater spokeswoman, Anne Tyrrell, acknowledged the need to shake the company’s past in Iraq. “Certainly that is an aspect of our work that we feel we were defined by,” she said.

I guess this company is hoping we have a short memory and put the past behind them.

WHEN WILL OFFICES OPEN TO APPLY FOR STIMULUS JOBS ?

I have not heard about any offices opening for unemployed persons to register. Who is going to replace the sod on the Capitol Mall? Will it be the National Park Workers who already have a job? Or will it be the unemployed ?

There should be offices in every state for persons who were laid off to apply for jobs filling potholes and repairing schools. Is this money going to be given to governors who will only divert the money to other projects ?

OCTUPLET MOM'S HOPES ARE DASHED

The octuplet mom's hopes are dashed because nothing has come to pass as she envisioned. She has been looking at too much t v. She believed what she saw with the reality shows. What she didn't know was that character counts.

No one is going to part with money that easily. There are tough times in this country right now.She was getting ready for her fifteen minutes of fame . The church she mentioned in her interview has distanced themselves from her. They deny they even know her. In their statement they said they are not supporting any of her activities.

I am wondering why Kaiser Permanente Medical Group did not transfer her care to the county hospital. Are they going to sue the local government for services rendered or are they going to eat the costs?

Her mom said the reason why she had to file bankruptcy was the fact that the tot mom did not pay any of the bills. On "RadarOnline" the interview with the grand mom took a tour of the house and it was in shambles. Clothes were everywhere and they had sheets up to the windows as curtains.

I think the public should donate to her a washing machine and cloth diapers. I wonder does she have as many friends as she thinks she has to help with the kids ?
She has been getting death threats.Now she is begging for money.

Last month an 8 and one-half month pregnant woman flew to America and gave birth to multiple birth kids. Now she is saying she needs help and is having it hard. I think the government should pay her fare back to her country so they could live. I know it is a third world country , but these women should not think they can pull the wool over the eyes of American citizens.

RAPPER CHRIS BROWN SHOULD JUST GO AWAY

Chris Brown should just go away. There is nothing that could justify him attacking Rihanna.I am a senior citizen and not familiar with the music, but I think he did a terrible injustice to her and himself. Just watch, his excuse will be that he was abused as a child. He should not get a pass.

His body is a dangerous weapon, since he is a martial arts person. And he focused his attack on her face and arms. Her face and arms are a moneymaker. It seems that he was intent on destroying her career, but I hope it backfires on him and is his downfall.

Every time you see him on t v he is smiling and grinning. That is a bunch of crock. I hope that his record label drops him and other rappers shun him and refuse to perform with him. In fact, like Madea says " I hope the other rappers WHOP HIS ASS".For the kids out there who think he is a role model, I hope the parents will school them on what's happening.

RIHANNA BITTEN AND BATTERED

Rihanna was left with "horrific injuries" after allegedly being assaulted by rapper Chris Brown. Rihanna was left with facial injuries following an argument with boyfriend Chris Brown. Brown reportedly punched her in the face,causing swelling to her forehead,a split lip, as well as bites on her arm.

In 2007 Chris Brown told Giant magazine his stepfather used to hit his mom. Brown said, " I remember -- thinking, I'm just gonna go crazy on him one day" .I hope that his attorney Mark Geragos does not try to sweep this thing under the rug, as he seems to have done in so many of his other cases.

An old trick in Los Angeles is for celebrities to donate huge sums of money to slain officers families organizations. Someone has told me that her mouth has been wired shut. I hope that she gets justice by the women's organizations and some of the young rappers out there. Also I hope that if there are any other young women out there that have been abused, they will come forward.

IS HOSPITAL USING OCTUPLET MOM TO BURY ERVIN LUPOE STORY ?

Is Kaiser Permanente hoping the Ervin Lupoe story get buried with the octuplet birth's saga? Ervin Lupoe killed his wife and five children. Kaiser said he misrepresented himself to receive childcare. If it costs around $500 dollars a month for one child, you can imagine the cost for five children.

Maybe he only stated that he had a security guard job to obtain childcare. Kaiser was under fire because Lupoe stated in his suicide letter that an administrator at Kaiser asked him " why did he show up for work, he should go home and blow his brains out ".

Lupoe and his wife both worked at Kaiser Permanente. Both were fired.

OCTUPLET MOM SHOULD BE SHUNNED

I think the mom should show how she will produce means of support for these kids. Corporations and people should hold off of donations to this person. What is the name of the insurance carrier and how is Kaiser Permanente being paid for the care of the kids ? This mother is very irresponsible.

The doctor who implanted her with these fetus's should be brought up on charges. I believe there will be new laws in the future in California preventing this. The grand mom , Angela Suleman says she will be gone when the mom is released from the hospital.

A babysitter for Nadya Suleman's autistic son said that Nadya stated she got paid for having babies. Dr. David Adamson, former president of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, said he is bracing for some backlash against his specialty.

Nadya Suleman says she is going to go back to college in the fall. How can she care for the children and go to school? I don't think she anticipated the outcry and disgust from the American public. What are the right-wing evangelicals saying about this ? they sure are quiet .

MBA'S ARE APPLYING FOR THEME PARK JOBS

Each year, Carowinds must fill more than 2,100 seasonal jobs at the 112-acre amusement and water park off Interstate 77, near the S.C. line. The staff starts taking applications in January and after a week usually has about 1,000, said Sandy Cranford, director of human resources.



This year, Carowinds had about 3,400, she said, or more than triple the typical turnout.

THE ARMY CLAIMS PRIVATE'S DEATH A SUICIDE

The Army claims Private First Class LaVena L Johnson died from a self inflicted gunshot wound with a rifle on July 19, 2005. Her father John H Johnson PhD, says documents suggest otherwise. He obtained them from the Freedom of Information Act.

The pictures and documents proved his daughter had been raped, beaten, shot and set on fire. They poured lye in her vagina to destroy evidence and dumped her in a contractors tent.

The Army has covered this crime up and are protecting the contractors. No wonder the Iraqes want the private contractors out of their country. They have never been prosecuted for their crimes against military and civilians.They were all found immune from prosecution by the Bush Administration.

Is she the first? Certainly this PFC isn’t the last.

Is it any wonder Osama Bin Laden can’t be found?

Calling themselves soldiers, claiming they are men.

What a shame when the real enemy is on the same side,
Behind the color of camaraderie these cowards hide,
Punched in the face, loose teeth, she was only 5 feet 1,
The Army claims its suicide, that’s all, over and done.

How many before shooting themselves bust their own lip,
Severe enough to the point it needs more than one stitch,
Surprisingly they didn’t say she tried to saw herself in half,
Which lie would be easier to swallow? You do the math.

So, how did that chemical burn get on her private parts?

Can’t call it racial because all women are treated the same,
Even academies and bases in the states there is this claim,

Vengeance will certainly be more than a punch in the mouth.

But, where is this promise for LaVena, her assailant got away,
Judging by the condition of her remains, she put up a fight,
Now John and Linda Johnson are paving the road to right.

Funny thing though, seems they have a roadblock in Iraq,
It’s from the U.S. Army, who supposedly has their back,
The saying, “with friends like these who needs enemies?”
Guess the Army thinks first the perpetrator said, “please?”

Here's a little something to me that is simply down right scary,
The hole in her head was from a pistol, which she did not carry,
Oh yeah, if you think that's something how does this fact sound?
The fatal bullet that went through her head was never even found.

If there ever was this kind of incompetence in World War II,
Adolph Hitler or his off spring would be telling us what to do,
Oops, I don't mean us because there'd be no Blacks or Jews,

Whomever, wherever, whatever, an injustice did occur,
We can’t make it right for others without justice for her,
Hey, White House, the most powerful office in the world,
Do you have the gonads to speak out for this Johnson girl?

A petition was signed that is over twelve thousand strong,
The Army closed the case anyway saying nothing’s wrong,
Nothing like U.S. Intelligence, it’s the reason for the attack,
If they hadn’t been storing WMD’s we wouldn’t be in Iraq.
